It’s all in the mix — tankers regularly deliver the raw materials for our insulation to the silos at our plants in Sohlingen and Lindau. Our plastics preparation units process the raw materials to make the different mixes for various insulations and coatings.

Utmost precision is just as important as long experience and extensive knowledge when drawing copper. In the different steps of the process, the raw copper wire can be drawn out to the finest of strands — almost as thin as a human hair.

Beginning with the raw materials, we take care of every stage of production ourselves. Only this way can we have maximum control over quality; beyond that, it enables us to work on optimizing future-oriented products — for example, the plastics mix for halogen-free cables.
